rom 21 – 23 February 2019 the Indian health industry elite will meet at the 25th MEDICAL FAIR INDIA at the Pragati Maidon Exhibition Center in New Delhi. In excess of 15,000 trade visitors are expected and more than 600 exhibitors have registered for participation in the leading trade fair and platform for healthcare on the most populous subcontinent.
A new feature this year is rehaindia (powered by REHACARE) with ranges for rehabilitation and nursing care. “This segment of the market is increasingly moving to the foreground as medical care is constantly improving, prosperity is rising and life expectancy is extending as a result of this. This is why we are now also bringing our know-how acquired by REHACARE, the leading international trade fair for care and rehabilitation, to bear in India to mark the anniversary of MEDICAL FAIR INDIA. With this move we are granting our exhibitors access to a very big market and our visitors to interesting solutions for all their questions relating to disability,” explains Horst Giesen, Global Portfolio Director of Health & Medical Technologies at the Messe Düsseldorf Group.
Alongside this new area other focal segments on display at MEDICAL FAIR INDIA 2019 include: medical products and devices, laboratory technology and diagnostics, clinic and health centre furniture, and the health IT segments now so on trend the world over as well as mobile health solutions.
Forming an integral part of the programme of attractive side events accompanying this event are CLIN LAB INDIA, a conference with exhibition on lab medicine trends conceived of and organised by Scherago (USA) in cooperation with the Messe Düsseldorf Group, and the FTR4H Conference (Future for Health) held for the third time now. The latter addresses all the issues associated with the digital transformation of healthcare.
Another highlight among MEDICAL FAIR INDIA’s side events is Voice of Healthcare, a 2-day conference dealing with various cross-sector topics related to the implementation of a modern healthcare system. This meeting is about trends in technology (like improved care thanks to new processes and technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, for example), aspects of international cooperation through joint ventures with manufacturers and institutions or other countries as well as about best practices for start-up companies and company management.
With these subjects the event targets decision-makers from the medical field (such as physicians and health professionals) and from top management at clinics. However, it is just as interesting for architects and building planners, consultants and representatives from science and research.
